Freehouse is South Carolina’s only certified Organic Brewery. Located on the Ashley River in North Charleston, Freehouse provides quality craft beer made with 100% organic, and locally sourced when possible, ingredients. We are looking for a responsible, self-sufficient, and detail oriented beer-tenders to help spread the Freehouse Cheer throughout our Ashley River Tap Room!

The ideal candidate would love serving our great customers delicious, locally made brews with a friendly face. They would love coming to work on the Ashley River and being in the rustic, natural environment.  Working in the tap room, you see the brewing process first hand and have access to brewery resources you can only get working for a locally owned brewery. This will help you better serve your customers and take pride in the place that you work. We have a passion for organic beer and we would want for you to share that passion!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Opening and closing the tasting room including cleaning duties
• Opening, maintaining and closing the register
• Monitoring the taps and depletions of kegs to make sure the brewery has time to properly replace kegs as they are depleted.
• Maintain cleanliness of not only the tap room but the surrounding facilities as well AKA the bathrooms, outside biergarten etc
• Alerting the tap room manager of any supplies that might need to be replenished or any other tap room related purchases
• Position reports to Tap Room Manager

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be 21 years or older
• Strong time management and people skills desired
• Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work
• Ability to be habitually on time is required
• Must have a way that the Tap Room Manager and Sales Manager can contact you
