The Enchanted Circle Brewing Company located in Angel Fire New Mexico near the southeastern border of Colorado is a split 10/20-bbl production brewery with a 75-seat tasting room that attracts beer fans seasonally at this beautiful Rocky Mountain ski, golf and the award winning mountain bike resort town.
We create world class beers to drink onsite or take beer to go. The brewery distributes to local restaurants and soon to be in grocery stores with the use of a mobile canning source as an early packaging solution to go with our kegs for state-wide distribution. We have six flagships and several seasonal offerings.
We are seeking a second Brewer who is ready to brew and shares our values and visions for this new brewery.
We seek a second brewer that can produce consistent quality beers with a split 10/20 bbl system.
Create new recipes and maintain the quality of current recipes
Manage barrel aged, sour beer and cask beer programs.
Manage yeast and fermentations
Manage bottling/canning lines
Develop/communicate schedule for all brewing and cellar staff.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures.
Work closely with the tap room staff. Educate taproom employees in beer.
Help manage the taprooms kegs/lines/quality of product
Maintain a clean and sanitary brewhouse environment. Brewhouse must always
be clean and ready to show off for visitors.
Manage raw materials inventories and materials contracts.
Maintain daily production records.
Schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance on all equipment.
Communicate shift schedule for all brewers and cellar staff.
Work with the department heads and production team to create and improve processes that encourage safety, quality and efficiency.
Work with sales team developing sales growth strategies
Provide customer service calls with tap line cleanings
Help with keg deliveries
Ability to provide educational tours for visitors to the brew house.
Availability for sales meetings, competitions, festivals, tap take-overs.
Show interest in our operations, growth, community, and future.
Ability to relocate to Angel Fire, New Mexico. (Relocation should not be expected
to be covered)
5 years experience brewing in a craft brewhouse.
Valid drivers license.
Compensation dependent upon experience.
Work schedule expected - 40 hours per week. Day shift with some weekends and holidays.
